Kanto Freestyle Breakfast in Mandaluyong

The 1st time I heard about Kanto, was from a friend who tried it a few months back.  Since yesterday was Pasig Day, I got an extra day off and took the opportunity to visit the place.

Finding it was not easy.  Road construction near the Mandaluyong City Hall made the route tricky with counter-flows and one-way access.  Attached is the map in reference to Maysilo Circle.  You can try the San Rafael access from M. Martinez Ave.

Judging on how the establishment looks, this would be the last place you would look for Eggs Benedict, but that was just among the interesting offerings of Kanto Freestyle Breakfast.

On this visit, We tried out the Ham & Cheese Omellette, Spanish Sardines Benedict, French Toast and Chicken Longganisa Kanto Boy Breakfast all for 300php.

Too Bad, the only reference we have of the meals are the list on the board, but we can't help but be tempted of the Pancakes ordered by the group across our table.  That's another reason to go back.

Among the items I find interesting is the ChocNut Champorado Topped with Tuyo, Fluffy Pancake Topped with Goya and ChocNut Ganache and the Tinapang Galunggong.

Try to drop by early morning or late afternoon, the midday sun can be unforgiving especially during the summer months.
