New Year in Boracay

If you are planning to spend a New Year in Boracay, these are the things you need to consider.

1.  Secure your flights early.

Plan your arrival and departure.  Flights would get more expensive as you move closer to the date.  The earlier you book your flight, the more chances of you getting promo fares.

2.  Book your Hotel.

There are many options on where to stay in the island, depending on how many are you and the budget.  AirBnB has cheaper options as low as 700 pesos per night.

3. Scout for the most reasonable New Years Eve Dinner

Dinner buffets are expensive.  It's better that you scout for the best offer the moment you arrive.  If you're just after the fireworks along the beach, its free for everyone to see.  But if you want to settle in a place to get a good view, take the Dinner Buffet at Hap Chan in Boracay Regency.  Its the most reasonable and it entitles you an entrance to the beach for good view of the fireworks.

4.  Take the Southwestern Airport-Hotel transfer service.

For a little more than what you would normally pay to commute, this saves you the hassle of long lines and waiting time.

5.  Party with Boracay Pubcrawl

If you're travelling alone, this is the best way to make friends and enjoy Boracay's nightlife.

Those are my basic tips.  i would let you explore the food and activities for the remainder of your stay!

  1. If you're in Boracay during New Year to watch fireworks, then I suggest the fireworks display on Station 1, especially at Discovery Shores. It has the most extravagant fireworks on the island. :)

  2. I agree! and if you're really on a tight budget, grab a mat, and secure a good location in the sand along station 1. Take out out meals from your favourite restaurant and just have a picnic until the sky lights up with the fireworks.
